How does everyone feel about yumex?

In light of the new version of yumex (Yum Extender) that has recently come out, how does everyone feel about it? I like the GUI look, but I felt that it slowed down the update process a little. Do you all prefer to use the text based yum or yum with the extender? In my first few days with linux, I enjoyed it becasue i was uncomfortable with the CLI. Now that am a little more proficient, i think i will stick with the text version. How about you all?

For newbies, you can get yumex by typing
Code:
su -c 'yum install yumex'
and you will find it under Applications > System Tools > Yum Extender

I use yum in text mode exclusively to update my system. I do use yumex, however, when I'm browsing for an obscure tool to do something specific - it's a lot easier to read the package descriptions.

Yumex totally sucks in my opinion. I've tried it for two day's and I threw it out...
I know it's easy to search for programs, but if you learn to work with yum a little bit you can throw it out too. 'yum search xxx' will do the same.
You really don't have to be a CLI-wizard to use yum.

yumex is alright but too dang slow. It's painful. I try to stick with yum whenever I can. I've heard kyum is good, but haven't checked it out yet. The next "thing" is supposed to be 'pup' in FC5.
