Installing GDM themes in Fedora
I have already downloaded the theme that I want to install and use in Fedora Core 5, but when I move the theme folder to .../themes/ and open Theme Preferences, I do not see the new theme as an option to use. Please, help. Thanks.

hi mangulo !!
extract your theme file and in theme manager, click install. move to the folder where you extracted the theme... if theme file is compatible .. then it will be recognized by theme manager.
casperIt is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

I actually tried doing that once before, but it sent me a message saying that the file format was invalid. This is because the GDM themes are not for use in the Theme Manager, they are just the window that shows up at login, so you would just have to copy the folder of the new GDM Theme you want tot use in /usr/share/gdm/themes/ and open System -> Administration -> Login Screen. Thanks anyway.
