Question fedora fc5 no entries in thermal_zone

I have an asus p5p800 SE motherboard. My cpu overheated two days ago, and I was notified via /var/log/messages and console messages. I put better heat transfer goo on the cpu/heatsink and all is well. I want to monitor my cpu temp but there are no entries in /proc/acpi/thermal_zone. Any suggestions to get this working?

[root@rhfc5 thermal_zone]# pwd
/proc/acpi/thermal_zone
[root@rhfc5 thermal_zone]# ls -al
total 0
dr-xr-xr-x 2 root root 0 Sep 14 00:04 .
dr-xr-xr-x 11 root root 0 Sep 11 08:44 ..

Thanks,
jonw

thermal_zone

Hi,
I have the same problem with you :

[root@demetra-pc thermal_zone]# ls -al
total 0
dr-xr-xr-x 2 root root 0 Apr 26 15:44 .
dr-xr-xr-x 11 root root 0 Apr 26 15:05 ..

Have you find a solution? Can you please help me about this problem?
Thanks,
