How to make page numbers happen in Openoffice.org Writer

I have FC-5 and use KDE.

In other Word Processors if you want to add page numbers it's easy and obvious. Usually you would just go to the "Insert" menu and a an option would be there and it would be easy and intuitive to add them. Not so with OpenOffice.org Writer, at least it's not obvious. Can someone please tell me how to add page numbers to a document in OpenOffice.org Writer?

Thanks,

royeo

Hello royeo !

you can insert page number in Header or Footer. i prefer Footer.

Insert --> Footer --> Default
keep it focused.... Insert --> Fields --> Page Number.
by default its left aligned. you can set it as centered or right aligned.
