Changed Hardware Configurattion....How do I change it in RHEL?

I changed my hardware configuration from the booting drive being the Secondary Master to the Secondary Slave.

I need it to stay this way, but when I boot I get an error saying /dev/hdc1 is not an ext3 filesystem (tries to mount this as /). How do I change RHEL to mount /dev/hdd1 as / during startup?

Please help.

You will have to edit the /etc/fstab of your Redhat installation and change the device names so that they correspond to your current ones.
