stream movies from fedora core to xbox 360

i can do it with windows but is there any streaming software for fedora core 7 linux? streamed over ethenet cord??

Hey,
Well i think methylblue and VideoLan Client or VLC can play a number of audio and video formats, It can also be used to stream video across a network. Search those for your fedora and Xbox by googling on net you will find those. See below links for more info -->

ok got vlc in but how do i set up streaming to my 360? i put in my consoles ip but not sure what protocal do i use? im not sure what im doing wrong
