Does somebody can explain to me how find witch file need to be put in a chroot jail for a "XYZ" service

Exemple: today i need to chroot mysql... how find witch file is need to be copy in /chroot/mysql environement?

yes i know i can search chroot mysql on google and i will find a list of file..but this list is sometime specific for one linux distrib and version. So i whant to learn own can i find by my self witch file to chroot
