How to make a tool for Network Intrusion Detection System?
hi everybody,
Can anyone plz tell me that how to make a tool for Network Intrusion Detection System. We want a GUI in which all performance should measure.
Whenever a system find any intruder then it should give some indecation of that ip or MAC address.
please give me some programming hint. how to proceed further........?

You could probably take a good look at the coding on an already existing intrusion detection system and get an idea from that on how you want to go about creating one of your own. Nobody here will write the code for you since it's your homework.
