netstat -a is Segmentation fault

Six month ago installed a linux gateway server using redhat 7.2 for
my friend but recently i checked that when i using netstat command i have an error like this

#netstat -a
Segmentation fault
#

i knew that my friend is couldn't operate linux !

am i hacked ?
and also i have similiar problem when using top command

# top
top: error when loading shared libaries: libncurses.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Try to run chkrootkit and Rootkit hunter. If you've been cracked, most likely one of those two will find out.

About the second question, try to install ncurses. Check out freshmeat.net
