    Fail2ban and RHEL5

I have used fail2ban on my debian server and I really like it. But when I installed it on my RHEL5 server it did not work right. It did not change or update my iptables settings. What would be the easiest way to get that working?

Did you install from source using the python script?

    What does "fail2ban-client -h" report?

Did you have any iptables rules before / was netfilter enabled?

    Cheers
