    I personally don't touch the stuff. I have complete confidence in my webiquette , as most spyware/malware is aimed at the Windows platform. But I'm sure enough people will disagree with me about whether to use or to not use it.

    Unless you are surfing the net as root, but if you do that maybe you should just stick with Windows.

    Thanks to scathefire and ozar.

    Have read the links you suggested, and think I'llforgo the bother of setting up additional protection until such times as I notice a lot of correspondence on the forum re problems security wise.

    What a pleasure it is to be away from windows.
