    I think the vid card is the newest part on it.

    AOpen MX3L mobo specs include --

    Pentium II
    384MB RAM max
    66Mz FSB
    USB 1.1

    This is really ancient! And, no, the two "firewall distros" I mentioned earlier won't work on it.
    I'll look into it, but perhaps BSD would be better in your case; in any case, it would appear CLI is the rational choice!
