    partimage and rootkit

    Hi

Would restoring you Linux OS with images created by partimage remove all malware or rootkit without a reformat of the partition?

Or do I have to reformat the disks, then restore images?

    Thx

    Hello

I'd recommend a total disk format before restoring system images that are known to be good, then as long as your system BIOS isn't infected, you should be good to go.
