    How to disable certain commands for a user..??


    Hi All,

    Is there any way to disable a certain commands for a particular user..??

    We are using Solaris 10 8/11.

    Well I'm afraid that it probably isn't possible. Most operating systems are designed in such a way that even if you did prevent them from using a certain command, they can just write (or more likely install in ~/bin) their own software that does the same thing. Also this is a Linux forum, not a solaris forum.
