    My husband installed a firewall on our router and so far that has worked well. If we type one of the malicious domains in, it is blocked and we have received no redirects anymore.

    I still may install bind, just in case. So, thanks again!

    Congrats! Using a firewall is a much more user-friendly solution IMO.

    I use Blocking Unwanted Connections with a Hosts File as a way of blocking the hi-jacking sites

    Wow, over 15000 entries! Do you update yours from time to time? I copied the list of entries into my hosts - thought I'd give it a try.
