Got Centos. Do i need LPS Linux for some tasks?

    Hi,

I've got Centos installed on VMware.

Sometimes i want to check a dodgy link, do some online banking or secure related operations on it because of the extra security in comparison to windows.

Do i need LPS Linux for this stuff, as it boots from CD, executes from RAM, not saving anything on shutdown.
Maybe it could also be more secure to the host system (Windows); or Centos is enough in this regard?

If really makes difference I'll install LPS; otherwise would be very happy with Centos alone!

CentOS should be good for you. I use Mint on my laptop and it is quite secure for banking. Also, I use CentOS on my workstation, for much of the same stuff!
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

    Thanks!

Centos is my number 1 tool after Windows. In some scenarios it's indispensable, and fixes Windows stuff that Windows and it's tools cannot!

On checking dodgy links, websites and downloads, if it contaminates the host Windows with some virus (because it's installed and saves data on shutdown), i'l install LPS.
If same thing happens with LPS I'll just use Centos.
Trial and error is necessary here, to find out.
