after 2 weeks activate snmpd & mrtg on my LAN server i have some curious message on my /var/log/messages
here is part of the message

and again wu-ftp server
here is part of the message

using RH 7.2
i use this as LAN server, serving as samba, web, database (mysql)
is it my named server have any error or

One or more of your server is doing a reverse lookup on a client, and quite often you'll see this messages when you hit a poor configured nameserver for a certain domain. That's just about it. So a direct answer on your question, No, nothing wring on your name server. Its the other end that has some "lame" records.
