i just want how to disable shell access,
i did at /etc/shadow and changed that shell for home users is /bin/false but after that i realise that some services ftp it blocked too
and "nologin" is it under /bin directory ? but i found that is under /sbin
is it ok ?
and again i've read that G. Mourani books that some user system is need to remove like lpr, halt, print is necessary ?

Your method, while it might work, is a bit of a kludge. You might want to investigate using PAM
