set URLs in browser
Posted a while back about this topic but couldn't get clear cut method.
Using Mandrakelinux 10.0 with Mozilla 1.6.
There should be some way to allow only certain sites instead of trying to filter out bad ones as a way for parental control. Most of the filtering software require constant updates, cost lots of $, and can't get everything, whereas a site previewed by parents and added to a script in a file is usually 100% safe.
Any ideas out there?
Thanks

Re: set URLs in browser
there are a few ways to do this. one is with dans gaudian. dans guardian http://dansguardian.org/ is a web filtering software like net nanny. the other is more specific and thats in /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny
