What Anti Virus protection do you want ? ClamAV is a multi purpose one. I use it on my email server to scan emails before they get delivered. But you could use it also in an email client, I believe that latest KMail has CLamAV support. See their homepage http://www.clamav.net/ There is a FC package on that site. Be sure to check some frontends as well. But I do not use a virus scanner on my desktop, because I do not need one . I once had a legal copy of some virusscanner but never found a virus on my machine for years.
A firewall is included with the kernel and a userland program called iptables. There are many scripts and frontends for that, FC might have the solution already installed, but I don't know FC. But if you do a search on iptables google and this forum search will give you a lot of useable links .I\'m so tired .....

I downloaded firestarter based on a few good recommendations here. I've got a lot to learn about firewalls, but firestarter looks to be good and easy to set up. I think sourceforge has links for it.
/IMHO

Choose the Third party software link on their site and read what's available. There are several GUI's available, you probably want something in the category Graphic User Interface+ClamAV
