    how to build a activities monitoring and logging system


    hi all,

    i wonder how to build such a system, which can monitor activities invoked by user and log them into a log file. anyone here has any ideas? or reference available ?

    logwatch is a good utility.
    Redhat and Fedora come pre installed with it.
    Try it.
    And I would second tripwire and other such utilities.
