Hello,
I put a simple password for root during the installation of Linux Mandrake, and now I'd like to change it, but I don't know how to do
By the way, I downloaded a free CPANEL called CUBEPANEL it's a file .SHAR and I don't know how to instal ????
Can you help me ?

As root type "passwd" and this will prompt you to enter your old password, followed by the new password twice.

Cube Panel installation
hi,
To install Cube Panel on a fresh Fedora Core 3 box (with SELinux disabled) you have to yum install some modules and then execute the .shar package.
Execute next commands from a shell:
- rpm -import /usr/share/doc/fedora-release-3/RPM-GPG-KEY-fedora
- yum install sharutils perl python vsftpd httpd mod_ssl php php-mysql mysql mysql-- server bind bind-chroot spamassassin mailman squirrelmail cyrus-imapd cyrus-imapd-utils
- sh cubepanel_fc3_trial-2_0.shar
