    want to read the /etc/shadow file but problem is that i want it without root user ...
    mean without any comprise from root side how i read that file.....

    i want to clear that root is not going to give u any permission....

    somebody suggested me to use SET_USER_ID bit of /etc/shadow file but to set this bit i need again root privileges.....

    please give me some way .....

    lol I don't know why would you want to do that.. login as root and change the permissions, simple
