    Help!!!! Is this a problem?? ROOT KIT!

    Just ran a root kit search with chkrootkit, and it gave the following, which I have not seen before! is this bad?


    Checking `chkutmp'... The tty of the following user process(es) were not found
    in /var/run/utmp !
    ! RUID PID TTY CMD
    ! root 2049 tty6 /sbin/mingetty tty6
    chkutmp: nothing deleted


    Thats where the scan ends....
