need help in configuring tripwire

I have installed tripwire on my machine. But i dont know how to setup the policy file, how to initialize the database, or how to make changes to the database etc. So i am requesting you guys to help me out. I am new to this, so i would really appreciate it if you send me detailed help or give me links to good how-tos.

It explains how to set up tripwire on debian linux, but no matter your distribution since you have installed tripwire already all the rest should be the same.
