How to expand secure/messages logs
My Googling presented no clear answers to how to extend the logging period of the /var/log/secure[.x] and /var/log/messages[.x] logging files.
They are currently covering about 4 weeks. I wish to expand this to about 14 weeks.

Look at logrotate (/etc/logrotate.conf, /etc/logrotate.d/)
