MD5 is broken, Let's do SHA.
Well, as some of you may be aware, an MD5 collision can be generated in like 17 seconds on a laptop.
I'd like to see SHA-512 implemented at the heart of a linux distro. Is anyone doing this? How would one do this? whats the kernel support like for the new hash routines?
