How and can I use * to config Squid
I am new to the world of Linux/Debain and Squid. I've googled and can not find the answers to my questions. Do we have any Squid admin who can help?
Question 1:
Can I use wild cards (*) to Allow and deny groups within a subnet/s?
Question 2:
I need to configure Squid to allow IP addresses to the Internet while blocking a group of IP addresses within the same IP address range.
Sounds Simple. Well I have 254 subnets that require this same setting.
I.E.
Allow IP address 10.210.1.1 through 20
Deny IP address 10.210.1.21 through 29
Allow IP address 10.210.1.30 through 254
Now repeat these 3 rules over 254 subnets
10.210.1. through 10.210.254.
Does any one know to configure a rules set that doesn’t require 254 x NN entries?
