    Unhappy HI All....

    can anyone suggest me how to disable any particular logging in /var/log/messages ( like if i want to disable network related logs )
    in other words i want to have customized logging to be configured.

    See the manpages for syslogd(8 ) and syslog.conf(5).

    If you want more help (read the manpages first) then be specific about the problem.
