scanning dowloaded files for worms
I just downloaded an .zip file from the internet, transferred it to a memory key, rebooted into windows and just before executing an unzip command, I scanned it with AVAST (free virus program). This reported a worm was in the zip file. I deleted it. Here's my question:
What program can I use in Linux (SUSE 9.1) to scan downloaded files as they are being received?
Re: scanning dowloaded files for worms
I'm pretty sure you mean "free anti-virus program", lol.
Reminds me of the NTL stand they had in our local shopping precinct recently where they were advertising and (occasionally) selling broadband internet - the board had a big list of benefits, one of which said quite clearly "Free virus software". I believe 'em too...
