Squid proxy access password at 30days
I'm working with a squid proxy server 2.4.
I'm using the proxy server for acces to the internet.
Every user who want to join the internet needs a loginname and password.
the passwords are in: /etc/squid/squid_passwd
I want users to change there password automaticly at login after every month. But every thing I try, it doesn't work but I no it is possible.
Can anyone please help me.....
Thanks

what authentication process did you use? i am planning to have the same setup with you. the thing is, i am going to use existing user accounts in the same linux box running squid. with that, i can make them change their password anytime they want using usermin.
but, i ain't successful with the authentication process. i'm using pam.
