We have 8 or so servers which we wish to centralize the logs writing them to a postgres database. My quick searches leads to syslog-ng. We already have a postgres db setup and running now I wish to just having the logs from each server write into that table. All the "how-to's" have been good at the local setup, but none I found mentioning howto write the records to an off server database.

The one post mentioned splunk, but that site seems down, so if anyone has done this via syslog-ng, or has another way, please shout it out!
