    Apache and ASP.net


    Is it possible to use ASP.net pages under Apache.(Linux).

    Because our company runnes a firewall with Apache, but we don't want to use IIS, because the problems it causes?

    As far as I know, ASP.net is patented by Microsoft, so it's pretty hard to work around that.

    However, the Mono project (http://www.go-mono.org/), which aims to reimplement .NET under Linux/UNIX (and recently released version 1.0, so I guess it's fairly mature) mentions it occasionally. You may want to check it out.
