squid ncsa_auth bypass
I use ncsa_auth on a squid box. It is preventing our anti-virus from updating to a specifc IP. I have added dst ip_address, and dstdomain statements in squid.conf, but the updates cannot get through unless I disable ncsa_auth. Any ideas what to add to the config here?

i think you have to configure your antivirus to use your proxy server whenever it would download definition files. antivirus programs also have the username and password fields if there is authentication on your proxy.
