I recently cannot see my GNOME Desktop after I login using GNOME Session. the symthom is the FC7 dose not show my desktop icon as per normal after login. but I can switch to Text mode (using Ctrl+Alt+F1) and KDE Desktop when I selected to KDE Session before I login.
Does anyone can help me ? Any solution beside reinstall FC7?

You can remove all your gnome configuration by removing your gnome directories in your home directory. From the text-mode command prompt use:
Code:$ cd $ rm -fr .gnome $ rm -fr .gnome2 $ rm -fr .gnome2_private
If you dont want to delete these directories, then you could create a backup dirctory and use the 'mv' command to move them all into there.Linux user #126863 - see http://linuxcounter.net/
