mysql went waywards after mandriva 2008 upgrade (Solved)

I use Mysql for OpenEMR at my clinic and am not very old to linux..
Mysql 5.*
Mandriva 2008

After the Upgrade Mysql is not starting.
In a thread in this forum I came to understand to post the error file and see for the meaning of the errors..

Please help me understand what is wrong and what to do??

smitdesk.err reads as:

I did service mysqld restart

And it worked
