Hello,

We are running Postfix Postfix (2.4.5), with SASL & MySQL support on a Linux ES 3 server. We are having an issue where if I run qshape I can see post fix is spacing out the emails and delaying their sending. I don't know why this is. Sometimes it goes up to as high as 40(min) on how old some of them get in the queue. But most of the time for no reason, postfix will space out 4 emails at 5, 5-10 emails at 10 and 20 minutes, etc. I would expect to a high number is places if there was a clog but I don't. It just chooses to space out a few emails over a long period of time instead of just sending them. See qshape output on the active queue below. This outputs is fairly normal but it starts to spread itself out over the day.
