    how do you patch/update postfix?


    I want to patch my postfix installation from Postfix 2.3.8 to Postfix version 2.4.5

    can anyone recommend a good walkthru that covers patching postfix?

    I'm not finding any help on Postfix Howtos and FAQs

    it really depends less on postfix and more on your distro and how you installed it in the first place. let us know.

    Well, I still have alot to learn about linux.

    I found this apt-get tutorial here: APT HOWTO - Managing packages


    It turnes out that all I need to do was run apt-get upgrade postfix, and there were a lot of packages upgraded. I'm now running postfix 2.4.5, and if I'm lucky, solved the blackberry garbled email issue as well. I'll know that tommorrow.
