Syslog: remote host logs into individual files
Hi All,
I have configured my syslog daemon to accept remote logs.
This is working fine.
However, I would like to send all logs from each host into it's own log file.
i.e. logs from host "foo" goto "foo.log", and logs from "bar" goto "bar-office.log"
Local logs can stay in messages or go elsewhere.
I'd really like to use the standard syslogd (i'm trying to avoid syslog-ng or rsyslog)
Is this possible using syslogd?
I can't find any info about this! please help!
Thanks,
E
