Free shell server resources
Hi all. I am thinking about running a free public shell server.
I am specifically looking for pre-existing distros / applications / setups that I can use as a starting point, if any exist. Also, any general information on what kinds of things need to be considered as far as system security, process and quota limitations, etc. I mainly want to do this to learn the system administration side of linux, and to create a community that benefits from a free shell. Thanks

Hi
Thats a good idea... but as far as system security is concerned u have to go for CHROOT environment...
This means creating a directory with all bash and other utilities and the directory would have its own root.... meaning who ever logs into the system would have that directory as its system
