could somebody copy an smb.conf file here for me? i'm running 3.0.26a on ubuntu gutsy. i tried looking for one online and couldn't find one...

    whoops! I deleted my smb.conf


    could somebody copy an smb.conf file here for me? i'm running 3.0.26a on ubuntu gutsy. i tried looking for one online and couldn't find one

    You could download the Ubuntu samba deb package. Extract it using "ar xv somefile.deb" and then do "tar zxvf data.tar.gz". You should be able to broswe through the extracted directories (or use the find command) and locate the default smb.conf for Ubuntu, then copy it to the appropriate directory.
