postfix with password on stmp for internet
I have a running postfix install and currently have postfix accepting smtp traffic from the local network setup mynetwork_style = class.
I would like to change this so that postfix accepts smtp from anywhere but requires a username and password and TLS.
can anyone help me with this?
other details are that I am not using virtual hosts or anything, just email for the local linux user database. I am running ubuntu server 7.10 with postfix and dovecot. also, I am using shorewall but have a smtp and smtps rule to allow that traffic from anywhere.
I don't know what to change the mynetwork_style = to and how to instruct postfix to require a username and password.
thanks in advance
