    Sendmail question... I used to know but forgot...


    Hello all,
    I have some servers that have sendmail configured to send it to one mail server that is being decom'd...

    I can't remember where it is I change the server name so it will send mail to the new server... I thought it was /etc/mail/sendmail.cf, but be for sure it that where or not??

    Please help!!

    Hi,

    I think, it depend to the type of sendmail installation (compilation, or package installation).
    For search this file, you can use the find command : find / -name sendmail.cf .

    I know where the sendmail.cf file is, but what I was not sure of is what file needs to be edited, is it the sendmail.cf file?
