Recommendations for managing log files
Hey everyone!
I have a Debian LAMP server that I've set up, and I'm looking for a package that will help me manage and sort through my log files. Basically I want something that will check my log files for me, and notify me via email about anything that merits further examination. Any recommendations?

I've heard a lot about Splunk. Is it easy to configure and use? Does it email you information about suspicious log entries? I've also heard mention of logwatch and logcheck. Are they any good? Does anyone have any experience with these as well, or does everyone pretty much recommend Splunk?
