    postfix installation

    hi ! it's my first time to install postfix. i'm using redhat 9 and i installed it using add/remove applications. forgive me, i'm new to linux . i want to test if it's working through 2 computers first without connecting to the internet. first computer is postfix server and the other one would be the client. could anyone help me configure it ? what are the first steps ?

    redhat 9?? I am sure there is a good reason.

    the best way to test a mail server is using telnet Telnet - SMTP Commands (sending mail using telnet)
