how should i remove or uninstall server applications like php, apache and mysql? i was able to install Cent.OS 5 but those said applications were already bundled upon ...

Uninstalling/ Removing server applications
hello guys,
how should i remove or uninstall server applications like php, apache and mysql? i was able to install Cent.OS 5 but those said applications were already bundled upon installation(which actually outdated).
any idea how should i exclude them ("next time around") and some other apps?

I'm a debian guy, so I'm not 100% sure. Follow the directions on this link.

It's for 4, but I doubt yum has changed very much.

from this doc, step 5 and 28 is where you would remove those on install

im actually looking for the command base of removing those application... not with graphical interface...
any suggestion?...

yum is a command line package manager only. Have you checked the link posted by wesley_morris2000?
Check here.It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
