    Question Uninstalling/ Removing server applications

    hello guys,

how should i remove or uninstall server applications like php, apache and mysql? i was able to install Cent.OS 5 but those said applications were already bundled upon installation(which actually outdated).

any idea how should i exclude them ("next time around") and some other apps?

    tanx in advanced!! peace out!!

I'm a debian guy, so I'm not 100% sure. Follow the directions on this link.

    Managing Software with yum

It's for 4, but I doubt yum has changed very much.

yum is a command line package manager only. Have you checked the link posted by wesley_morris2000?

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
