Have tried to install both DBMS's either from the OS install or separatly from install disk but neither will load on startup. Appears that init script/programs are not there ...

RH Ent Linux AS and Mysql/Postgres install
Hi,
Have tried to install both DBMS's either from the OS install or separatly from install disk but neither will load on startup. Appears that init script/programs are not there at all.
Any thoughts on this?
