    Mandatory and Roaming profiles under Samba with many users on 100MBit switches

    Hello forum,

    I would like to use mandatory profiles in a Samba installation mainly due to slow switches and many users (100Mbit switches, 800 users) along with low storage space (73GB on SCSI drive).

    My question is if it is possible for staff to use roaming profiles and just for students/users to use mandatory profiles.
    Is this possible? Any link to a relevant source will be more than helpful.
