Ubuntu Linux Server Stalled Boot
Hi Everyone,
I am running Ubuntu Linux server and the boot sequence stops at "Ok, booting Linux kernel".
I've tried accessing the server through an ethernet connection(using putty.exe to browse through) to see what was going on. . . No success, couldn't even get an IP address(server is DHCP Enabled)
I've even resorted to using an null modem cable to see if I could access anything through hyperterminal....Nothing.
Is there a boot cd or a recovery cd that can be found for this particular type of server that I could use to boot Linux? Or is that a non-sensical question?
Thanks in advance!

Have you installed X Server? Does it boot up in Single User Mode?
Post exact a few error messages as suggested by ynilesh. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
