Can someone please help troubleshoot 500 error?
I have just FTP'd some software to my site hosted on my Linux VPS. I created a folder, unzipped it and then tried to access the install.php file.
I'm getting a 500 Error and I can't figure out why.
I am running Apache 2.2.6 and PHP 5.2.5 in FastCGI w/ suPHP. So naturally, I checked the permissions to install.php and they are 755 which should be ok. There is a couple of directories that are set to 766 but it didn't do anything when I CHMOD'd them to 755.
I looked in /var/log/messages and I didn't see any error messages relating to this error.
I can't find the problem... Please help.

Nevermind... The directory containing the script exceeded 755.
